Questions
- What’s included, and what isn’t?
- Design, build, hosting, SSL, maintenance, SEO, the shop, email capture and any changes you need are all included. The two things that aren’t are your domain name and your email inboxes. We’ll happily advise on both and help you get them set up.
- Do I own my domain?
- Always. It stays in your name and your account. We point it at the new site and hand you the instructions if you ever want to point it somewhere else.
- Can I sell products as well as bookings?
- Yes. Gift cards, merch, kit — anything you sell over the counter can be sold on the site, through the same checkout as your bookings. Most booking systems can’t do this at all, and their websites just link you out to a separate shop.
- What happens to my Google rankings?
- We map every URL on your existing site to its new home and redirect it, so the pages you already rank for keep their place. Rebuilds lose rankings when nobody does this — we do it as standard.
- Can I update it myself?
- Yes. Anything driven by your Swellbase data — prices, descriptions, photos, availability — you already change in Swellbase, and the site updates automatically. You can manage and request other changes from your dashboard.
- What if I’m happy with the website I’ve got?
- No worries, Swellbase works with any website — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or anything else — and you can add the booking flow to the site you already have. See how the migration works.
- How do I get started?
