About Stevie
Stevie runs Ocean Vertical, a B Corp certified adventure company on the East Lothian coast, 40 minutes from Edinburgh. Coasteering, paddleboarding, surfing, climbing and winter mountaineering, run year-round. He set it up in 2018, after 25 years working in the industry.
He’s a trainer and assessor across a number of qualifications — an ASI SUP instructor trainer and a National Coasteering Charter assessor — Ocean Vertical develops other centres’ staff as well as taking its own customers out. HQ is a restored 200-year-old stable inside John Muir Country Park, part of which runs as The Bothy, a co-working space that provides another revenue stream. He also leads mountaineering and trekking expeditions in Nepal.
