Signing Up and Creating Your Account
Learn how to create your Swellbase account and set up your first company
Getting started with Swellbase is quick and easy. This guide will walk you through the two-step signup process to create your account and set up your first company.
Step 1: Create Your Account
To begin, navigate to the Swellbase signup page and enter your personal details.

Required Information
- First Name - Your given name
- Last Name - Your family name
- Email - Your email address (this will be used to log in)
- Password - A secure password for your account
- Confirm Password - Re-enter your password to confirm
Password Requirements
Your password must meet the following security requirements:
- At least 8 characters long
- Contains at least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
- Contains at least one lowercase letter (a-z)
- Contains at least one number (0-9)
- Contains at least one symbol (e.g., !@#$%^&*)
Once you've filled in all the required fields, click Continue to proceed to step 2.
Step 2: Set Up Your Company
After completing your personal details, you'll be asked to create your first company.

Company Details
- Company Name - The full name of your business
- Website - Your company's website URL (a favicon will be automatically fetched)
- Shortname - A unique identifier for your company URL (e.g., swellbase.io/yourcompany)
- Phone Number - Your company's contact number
About the Shortname
The shortname is automatically generated based on your company name, but you can customise it. This shortname:
- Must be unique across all Swellbase companies
- Can only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens
- Must be between 3 and 30 characters
Choose a shortname that's easy to remember and reflects your brand, as this will be part of your Swellbase URL.
Once you've entered your company details, click Create Account to complete the signup process.
Step 3: Confirm Your Email
After creating your account, you'll see a confirmation screen asking you to verify your email address.

Check your inbox for a confirmation email from Swellbase and click the link to verify your account. Once verified, you can log in and start using Swellbase.
If you don't receive the confirmation email within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If you still can't find it, contact our support team.

- Invite team members to join your company
- Start setting up your products and services
